Unleash the Power of Information with a BS/IS Degree: Virtual Fall Open House

Event Description: The iSchool welcomes prospective students to learn about the Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences, which has enrolled 119 students for the fall 2020 term. Students have a wide range of interests from data science to human-computer interaction.

During this event, you will interact with faculty, staff, industry recruiter, and current students. Information and data continue to be generated at an astronomical level. More than ever before, the need for information experts is necessary. Join us to learn how you will develop the technical skills while having a strong grounding on human behavior and its impact on information and technology. You will develop the competencies and immerse yourself in pre-professional experiences to unleash the power of information with a BS/IS degree. We’ve also invited Discover Financial Services recruiter, Madhia Askar, to share what she looks for when hiring interns and full-time employees for Discover.
