The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) will host admitted high school seniors on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus for a weekend immersive program designed to introduce students to campus life and engineering pathways at UIUC. This experience aims to support students as they transition into higher education by offering direct engagement with current engineering students, faculty, and university resources. Participants will attend student-led panel discussions, collaborate in an interactive engineering design challenge, take guided campus tours, connect with fellow admitted students, and more. Through these activities, attendees will gain valuable insight into the academic, social, and professional opportunities available at UIUC and develop a clearer understanding of what it means to pursue an engineering education at the university.
