2026 Spring I STAR Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Illinois Student Admissions Representative (I STAR)! We are taking applications to hire and train students to be prepared to give tours starting in Spring 2026.

Applications are due October 15, 2025. Interviews will happen on a rolling basis throughout October and November. Depending on the time you submit the application, you may be contacted before the deadline to interview for the role.

This is a paid, part-time campus position. Students can anticipate working between 4-8 hours weekly.

There are approximately 60-90 I STARs involved with Campus Visits and each student has their own unique story and experience at Illinois which contributes to our success.
