Event Description:

The School of Information Sciences (iSchool) will host a welcome event for admitted BS in Information Sciences on Friday, April 8, 2022. The event will begin at 1:00pm (CST) and end at 3:00pm in the multipurpose room of 614 E. Daniel St., Champaign, IL 61820. All attendees are invited for a tour of the CU Community Fab Lab at the conclusion of the formal program. 

This in-person event will consist of several informative sessions with faculty, academic advisors, and current BS/IS staff. This welcome event provides admitted students with the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, and student that contribute to an learning environment that promotes big thinking and bold action in addressing complex issues around information, technology, and people. 

Event registration is required, but the event is free. The deadline to register is Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 12:00pm (CST)
